Aeron Stool

Aeron Stool

The Aeron chair didn't end up in the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection just because it looks cool. Although it does. Its looks are only the beginning. Aeron accommodates both the sitter and the environment. It adapts naturally to virtually every body, and it's 94% recyclable. Even if it's black, it's green.

Capelli Stool

Capelli Stool

Pondering her new project—build a better stool—designer Carol Catalano noticed her own entwined fingers and had her answer. The Capelli stool is two identical plywood pieces, each with undulating "fingers" at the top that interlock without tools or fasteners. It's an ingeniously stable and graceful structure that's pleasant to sit on and simply beautiful to look at.

Eames Walnut Stools

Eames Walnut Stools

Are they really stools? Places to sit? Are they tables? Plant stands? Accent pieces for homes, offices, lobbies? Yes. They've been called abstract chess pieces. Well, no. Made of solid walnut, these stools designed by Charles and Ray Eames can be used anywhere, alone or in groups, and are beautifully versatile.
